At The Family Chemist, we understand that managing your health should be as straightforward and hassle-free as possible. That's why we've streamlined our prescription reorder process, ensuring you have continuous access to the medications you need, without any unnecessary delays or complications. Here's how you can quickly and securely reorder your prescription with us:
How To Reorder Your Prescription:
Step 1: Log into your account
Step 2: Go to your previous orders
Navigate to the "Reorder Treatment" section on your account section.
Step 3: Select your medication
Select the medication you are wanting to reorder and the dosage/amount. Please note our reorder function is not available if you are purchasing a different medication, emergency contraception, antimalarials or cystitis. If you are reordering a weight loss medication you will need to input your BMI.
Step 4: Confirm the prescription details
Make sure the consultation and medical history from your previous purchase are still up to date. You will need to redo the consultation if there is any change in your medical history.
Step 5: Checkout
If your previous consultation/ medical history is the same, please select "no" and go ahead and checkout. You will receive an order confirmation following the purchase and then an email when it's on its way.

Prescription Reorder FAQs
How do I start a prescription reorder?
To reorder a prescription, log into your account on The Family Chemist website, navigate to the “My Orders” section, and select the medications you need to reorder. You cannot reorder medication if you have not used us before. Please register complete a consultation and purchase the medication required.
What should I do if my medication, dosage or quantity has changed?
If your dosage has changed, you can select the new strength or quantity on the dropdown list, when you go to reorder.
If you need to change your medication you will need to fill the consultation again.
How can I check the status of my reorder?
You can check the status of your reorder by logging into your account and visiting the “Orders” section. We also send email updates at each stage of your order processing.
Is there a limit to how many times I can reorder a prescription?
You can reorder as long as there are no changes in medical history and you are ordering the same treatment. There will be times when the clinician may contact you to confirm your medical history. There may also be occasions where some medication should not be taken for long term like PPIs so the clinician may contact you and discuss further.
Our clinician recommends that a new consultation is done at least once every 12 months.
How long does it take to receive my medication after reordering?
We process orders within 24 hours of purchase. Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected at checkout. Please refer to our delivery information page for estimated delivery times.
Can I set up automatic reorders for my prescription?
We are currently working on this, however this will definitely be a feature in the future. Make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter for the latest news.
What payment methods are accepted for prescription reorders?
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and other online payment options. All transactions are secure and encrypted for your safety.
How can I cancel or modify a prescription reorder?
To cancel or modify a reorder, please contact our customer support as soon as possible. Note that once an order is processed and dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or modified.

2. Free online consultation
Complete a short online medical questionnaire. The questions will be about your health and medical history, this is to ensure that the treatment is appropriate and safe for you. Please note all answers will be confidential. The independent prescriber will then review and issue a free prescription, if suitable.
3. Receive your discreet delivery
To place your order simply proceed through our safe and secure checkout process, select the delivery option you require and The Family Chemist will process your order and make sure it is delivered straight to your doorstep. All of our products arrive discreetly, meaning your packaging will not show any logos or labels. You will receive a confirmation email once the order has been successful.
